What is the cost of studying at the Academy?

Cost for the first academic year (Full Season): €23,000

Payment is divided into three installments:

  • €7,000 — upon signing the contract (place reservation)
  • €8,000 — after obtaining the visa (before arrival)
  • €8,000 — mid-season (December)

Other programs:

  • Half Season (5 months): €12,500
  • Intensive (3 months): €8,000

What visa is required to study at the Academy?

For long-term programs, you need to obtain a Type D student visa (visado TIPO D).

📋 We send the official invitation for the visa after receiving documents and the advance payment.

✅ We provide all necessary supporting documents for the application at the Spanish Consulate.

What is the enrollment procedure at the Academy?

The enrollment process consists of the following steps:

  1. Initial documentation and agreement
    Copies of both parents' passports (for minors) and the player's passport, signing the agreement with the Academy.
  2. First Payment (€7,000)
    Paid upon signing the agreement to reserve a place in the Academy.
  3. Reservation and visa documents
    Official invitation and document package for obtaining a Type D student visa at the Spanish Consulate.
  4. Second payment (€8,000)
    Paid after obtaining the visa and before the player's arrival at the Academy (usually August/September).
  5. Final payment (€8,000)
    The remaining amount is paid mid-season (December). Total for the full season: €23,000
  6. Arrival and residence permit processing
    After the player's arrival, the Academy initiates the process of obtaining a residence permit in Spain and all necessary administrative procedures.
  7. Official guardianship
    One of the Academy directors is appointed as the official guardian of the minor player in Spain.
How long is the football season at the Academy?

Football season (academic year) at the Academy:

  • 📅 Season start: August 25
  • 📅 Season end: June 25
  • ⏱️ Duration: 10 months

💡 Joining during the season:

You can join the Academy not only at the beginning of the season but also at any time during the academic year. In this case, payment will be charged proportionally to the remaining time until the end of the season.

This allows players to start training at a convenient time without having to wait for the start of a new season.

Does the Academy participate in tournaments and trials?

Yes, competitive practice is a key part of the program!

We organize special annual trips and matches with top Spanish clubs:

  • 🔴⚪ Atlético de Madrid Experience: Training sessions and matches at the Atlético de Madrid Academy facilities.
  • Rayo Vallecano Experience: Games with youth squads of the La Liga club.
  • 🟢⚫ Racing Experience: Visit and matches with the historic Racing de Santander club.

Can students receive education while training at the Academy?

Yes! We offer full secondary professional education without interrupting the training process.

Upon completion of the program, players receive a secondary education diploma and can apply to universities in Spain and other countries.

Do you accept 15-year-old players?

Yes, we accept 15-year-old players under certain conditions:

Program for 15-year-olds:

  • ⚽ Full-volume football training
  • 🇪🇸 Intensive Spanish language study
  • 📚 Academic education is organized separately

Academic education options:

  1. Distance learning — continuing education in their home country online
  2. ESO exam in Spain — preparation and taking the official exam to obtain a Spanish ESO diploma, followed by the possibility of attending high school at the Academy (from age 16)

🎓 From age 16, players can study at the Academy's high school and receive full secondary education.

How is the education system organized in Spain?

To understand the educational process at our Academy, it's important to know the structure of the Spanish education system:

Compulsory school education:

  • ESCUELA PRIMARIA (6-12 years) — primary school
  • ESO (12-16 years) — compulsory secondary education

After age 16 (two paths):

1. BACHILLERATO (16-18 years) — university preparation

  • Specializations: sciences, humanities, arts
  • Result: Bachillerato diploma → university admission

2. FORMACIÓN PROFESIONAL (from age 16) — professional training

  • Obtaining a profession + full secondary education
  • Practical training for a specific profession
